# IP Address Filtering

Aerofiler offers the ability to add an allowed IP address range. To begin, go to Settings -> Organization -> Configuration

Go to the area for "Allowed IP Adress Ranges":

<figure><img src="https://990055713-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FpzhcJuh5qEG7uLa8k3LR%2Fuploads%2F0LLUUTjsXjbla3zSz0yz%2Fimage.png?alt=media&#x26;token=43139d4f-c01c-4de5-a876-bf1941b4d9c4" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Add any IP addresses that you wish to specifically allow. For example, to specifically add the IP address of 59.101.13.70, you would add the following:

IP addresses can be added in CIDR Notation.

{% hint style="info" %}
Your IP address must be included in the IP address range.
{% endhint %}

Once the setting is saved, users outside the allowed IP address range will see a "Forbidden" error message when they try to access your instance.
